Tokyo Lolita Fashion

It’s real, it’s very real…

I’m referring to the Lolita fashion – there are 5 types: Black Lolita, Sweet Lolita, White Lolita, Goth Lolita and plain Lolita.

you will learn a lot about the differences in this sub-fashion category from this video :)

Well… that was nice. But there are way more than 5 types of Lolita. And Baby may be one of the favored brands but there are many more out there.

I was glad a few americans made it on the show.

They should have dressed him up as a dandy. that would have been cute with his glasses and curly hair. Thanks for posting.

aww. that’s a cute video. those are only some of the basic categories. there is so a lolita style guys wear.

  6. Akuma Says:

I’d say there are more than just 5 types of lolita, especially in North America and Europe now.

Most of the time, black and white lolita fall under the generic “gothic” lolita tag, but you can also have a black outfit that’s sweet lolita – it’s all about the details.

But then you also have punk lolita, wa lolita, boystyle/kodona (which is not recognized in Japan) country lolita, classic lolita (probably what they’re calling plain lolita) and more.

To again: lolita is not extinct. It might not be that popular in Harajuku anymore, but it has a thriving fanbase on Livejournal and throughout the western world.
