Ohayocon Cosplay Fashion Show 2007
This for those of you who are into Cosplay. I found a particularly interesting video for you. Some of the costumes are quite awesome and rad. Check it out. Has anyone here participated in any cosplay before be it for an official cosplay function or mere fun around town?

We call it a “Fashion Show” since my predecessor called it that, but in honesty, it’s the Craftsmanship Cosplay Competition participants. Since all of these participants are pre-judged before the Masquerade, we wanted a way during th masquerade to showcase their costumes so when awards were presented, audience members could get a good understanding of what the competition was like. Once in a while there will be a JFashion panel with their own fashion show, but nothing during the Masquerade beyond the few Lolita competition in the Original Design category. Many Lolita will wear their outfits in public…there are usually a few tea parties or picnics in the warmer months. I don’t see many cosplayers out in all out full dress…except at events such as Cosplay Putt-Putt or Bowling (much fun to see the norms staring at us). Occasionally I’ll see a Naruto headband here or a [Witch Hunter] Robin or Vash [Trigun] coat there, but not full out cosplay.
