THANK YOU for saying it. The 80's were fashion's worst decade. I thought skinny jeans were a fad that would quickly pass (everyone looks fat in skinny jeans), but to my horror they have become something of a standard among young people. Even worse is the rising popularity of acid wash. Don't people realize that their current fashion "statements" are the product of uncreative and uninspired corporations recycling ideas that were best left in the dustbin?

Don't even get me started on skinny belts, high wasted tapered jeans, leggings and GASP shoulder pads. Has everyone lost their mirror or have I been transported back in time? What's next? Are people going to start hairspraying their bangs into high waves and get mullet haircuts?

Here we are, not only in a new millennium, but in a high tech creative world unlike any other in Earth's history. Can't we get some new and creative fashion ideas to fit our era? Is that too much to ask?

*crawls back into bitter hole*
