New Japanese suit fights swine flu!
New from Japan’s Harayuma Trading Company comes this sharp men’s suit that (besides just looking sharp) fights H1N1 virus. Yes, you heard correct. THE SUIT FIGHTS SWINE FLU!
According to Junko Hirohata, “The suit is coated with the chemical titanium dioxide, which reacts to light to break down and kill the virus when it comes into contact with it.”
The suit will soon go on sale for about £365. For those of you on a tighter budget, you’ll be pleased to know that titanium dioxide is quite a common chemical, often found in toothpaste and costmetics. So if you’d like to improvise your own swine-flu-proof clothing, you can do so with a thin coat of toothpaste.
