Japan will never be topped for its weirdest fashion and here’s why…
Vending machines skirt
Sewer cover purses
Glow in the dark pants for B-Boying, etc?
If you own one of these, take a picture of yourselves and send a copy of it to me. I will definitely post it up and show everyone how weird fashion has spread. Not for the sake of mocking but for the sake of showcasing.
Unless you are a Ganguro, I don’t see why you would want the sun in your face all the time. Skin cancer, much?
Anyway, protect your face and skin with some sunscreen this summer, please. Contrary to popular belief that a sun-tanned look makes you look younger, after the redness and skin peels, your skin will start sagging.
This posts sounds like a sunscreen advocate piece now, isn’t it? :P
I just wanted to show you these caps to take the sun off your face, is all :)
You need to check out Issey Miyake’s fall fashion for 2008-9, they are stunning and quite sensational. Not all of his designs are made for daily wear, flamboyant as they are but then again you never know when you’re on the streets of Japan.
I am hoping that the weather would turn out for the better soon. It’s not exactly normal when snowflakes fall during spring in 4 degree weather. It didn’t stick but it still snowed, which is quite a bummer. Here i am hoping that if i just blog about sunshiny stuff the sun might finally revealed itself and let summer begin already!
Nice sunnies for you viewing pleasure, courtesy of Asiajam:
Here are two scarfs I found that I completely adore. They are weaved knitted, which makes them absolutely fragile but it’s the fact that they are so fragile that makes them precious. Just like humans, the fact that we will never as beautiful as we are *today* makes us precious . Don’t you, fashion people, every forget that. End of life lessons.
Now let’s take a look at those scarves (Onatoko) :)
I use to think that keeping long nails are such a hassle because they keep chipping all the time. But then when I saw my friend’s extremely cool nail art, I figured you don’t need to grow 1 inch nails to have pretty nails. You just need to get some of these:
Gloves are “in” for winter. Not only do they keep the fingerlings warm, they are the latest fashion statement in Japan right now. Wear them bold, wear them long, wear them short, wear them furry, wear them silky …whatever you do, just wear them this winter because it is the trend.
Now, this trend makes a lot of sense to me because gloves are a necessity during the cold winter months. Here are some pretty hot looking hand sock that will knock your socks off!
