I am going to stop complaining about the current fashion and focus on what I can pick out that’s good about it. These dresses are one of the prettiest I have seen in a while. Whether you’re all about cosplay, gothic lolita, ganguro or whatever, i am sure you’ll find some of these dresses to your fancy.

The world is going 360 on me. First we saw fashion brought back from the 20’s with lacy dresses in drab colors of beige, yellowed cloth and gold. Then we saw the 70’s came back with bell-bottoms and big hair wigs. And now, we are experiencing the 80’s with really striking, albeit clashing, colors, shoulder pads, big hair, blue eyeshadow, and that awful carrot cut jeans to which they called it skinny jeans. The skinny about that jeans is that it’s ugly.

You may not share the same sentiments as I do but fashion these days have been awful. Nothing on the racks of daily-wear names like Zara, TopShop, MNG, or even …I can’t name names anymore…clothes these days are just awful. :( Those sack like tops and non-figure-flattering dresses are driving me insane. I maybe a child of the 80’s but i was not impress with what I wore as a child, let me tell you that!

And here’s proof that the 80’s back, a remake of kylie minogue’s “I should be so lucky” is selling like hotcakes in the Japanese charts.

Avril Lavigne’s clothing line has hit Japanese shores. To be honest, it would probably do well too – her punkish gothic style coupled with a bit of lolita-ness would bode well with Japan’s street fashion. Black and pink, i think it would link.

Baby Doll dresses are not going away anytime soon. For some reason, sack-like tops that does nothing for the figure is very popular in current fashion trends and there is nothing I can do about it. Maybe it is something about shielding the shape of the body which spurs the imagination – good and bad. It’s called Baby Doll Dresses for a reason.

Summer is a few weeks from being over and to wave bye-bye to the season, try out some of these pretty florally tunics. I’m a little crazy about bohemian styles at the moment, so these tops and tunics really jived with me.
