Ritsuko Kato takes the catwalk in this season’s Japan Fashion week!
Now, that’s fashion I’d wear everyday. Really.

Are the 80’s fashion back? But…the 80’s have the worst fashion sense. Gah…check out this video anyway, it’s really cool even with the 80’s fashion.
See that’s the thing, 80s fashion is so walkway and so flamboyant that it’s weird for daily wear.
Without starting another war about how similar all Asian heads are, here’s the latest Japanese Hair styles for short, medium and long hair.
You’ll notice that it is all about the art of flow with lots of play on big waves and curls without compromising the natural roots of Asian hair - which tends to me straight. Of course, there are naturally curly haired peeps out there too. Of course.

Here’s why:
The jeans are man-handled by this guy who paints their signature M on the back pockets everyday. Labour is not cheap, my friends. Do they tell you how many washes before the paint wears off?
Here are two scarfs I found that I completely adore. They are weaved knitted, which makes them absolutely fragile but it’s the fact that they are so fragile that makes them precious. Just like humans, the fact that we will never as beautiful as we are *today* makes us precious . Don’t you, fashion people, every forget that. End of life lessons.
Now let’s take a look at those scarves (Onatoko) :)
even the pets are not spared.
it’s a video shot for a university project so if you expect bumper car music to go with it, you’ll be disappointed. So expect some ’splaining of J-Pop fashion by students trying to explain what J-Pop culture is. I guess.
I love these tees, they’re so casual and comfortable. The reason why I loved junkfood tees are because ….well, it’s something you can wear and dress up if you want. Most importantly, these tees are a staple in Japanese street fashion. You gotta have the basics if you want to mix and match.
Check this video out. I know the song is catchy, it’s one of the reason why i post this up on a Monday ;) But the main reason why is because I want to point out that tube suit she’s wearing in blue sequins.
And in heels.
I’ve been trying to find what she’s wearing online but I can’t. I’ll be grateful if anyone can point me to a place that sells these body suits. Okay, the reason why I want this is because I actually a Japanese girl wearing this kind of overalls before and she looked so cute. Maybe she was trying to set a trend but it just didn’t catch up.
Anyway the artist in the video, Fiest, she’s quite a bold woman isn’t she prancing around in that almost ridiculous suit it looks almost sexy :P
Check out this totally vegan shoes. I know vegan means someone who does not eat/use any sort of animal product, that includes milk, cheese, eggs, leather, cosmetics using bug juice or animal gelatin etc.
So what’s a vegan shoe, exactly? A vegan shoe is simply a shoe that is completely animal free. It is not rolled out from pig skin factory belt, it is not made from leather, you get the picture.
This is a Stella McCartney’s Vegan Shoes:

They are recyclable too!
I use to think that keeping long nails are such a hassle because they keep chipping all the time. But then when I saw my friend’s extremely cool nail art, I figured you don’t need to grow 1 inch nails to have pretty nails. You just need to get some of these:
Glue them in and you’re good to go. Go to this site for more nail advice - apparently acrylic nails needs some attention so that they last longer.
